2010 Console Shifter Conversion

I am considering swapping my jumpseat for a console w/shifter. I have seen several posts on this swap for 04-08 but not 09-12. I have seen the swap for a console without the shifter and that looks straight forward. I wanted to know what is involved with the shifter cable and how the console integrates with the dash. If there is a writeup on it could someone post a link?
