I recently bought my son a graduation gift with a 2011 F-150 Lariat 4x4 Ecoboost with a 3.55 ratio. Is anyone getting poor gas mileage?
He has about 2,500 miles and is getting 13 to 14 mpg on the highway.
How many miles should he drive before it starts getting better OR until we start talking to Ford?
I have owned over six F-250 diesel trucks over the last 20 years and really think Ford is the best truck on the road today. However, disappointed in my son's F-150 mileage at this time.
I agree I have the same problem only 15 to 16 on the highway , they say nothing is wrong, but good lord my old 2003 with a 5.4 was getting 21-22 on the highway ,what can be done here Ford motor
I am getting a flat 15 mpg city and road on my EcoBoost. On the highway, if I drive only 55 miles per hour, and do not use the cruise control, I might get 19, but with 18000 miles my average is a flat 15 mpg.
Fellow Ford folks!! The posts on the mileage sounds terrible. My expedition with a 5.4 gets better than what you have been getting.. I talked to a person with a new ecoboost that does get over 20 on the road and even gets into the teens pulling a 10000 pound load too..
