I was hiding some wires today behind the dash. Wires are from sirrius radio. I have a 1999 F150. When I pulled out the center part of the dash of course I had to unhook the 4x4 connector and the passenger air bag connector also. I hooked the two connections back up. Now my passenger air bag on/off switch will not turn on and my air bag light is flashing in my cluster. I have took off my possitive and negative battery cables and guess what, NOTHING. Still blinking and the passenger light still want turn on and I am out of options. I do not want to take my truck to a dealer. Makes me feel like a failure. LOL :mad::mad:

On many vehicles when you disconnect the air bag it shorts the connector and that is what causes the constant light. I don't know if the F-150 connectors are like this but a quick call to a service center should yield an answer. If it is just a code they can be cleared for a few dollars and might be worth the price.
