Alternator Problem

I have a 2001 F150. I replaced my alternator with new one and it worked about 10 min. then stopped working . My light would blink off and on, and my gauge would go up and down and peg to the max. I have put on 3 total and they all do it. I had computer checked they said it was ok. Can anyone help? Thanks
