Old man in Ga needs help. Have 86 f150 302 fi and I have owned for many yrs. Recently decided to sale since I picked up a 02 4x4 f150- seems the 86 don*t want to go. it just quit as I took out to clean up. getting no fire most of the time- replaced dist.pu coil tfi module tried new ign coil replaced fuel relay. have had it running 2 or 3 times but goes dead when it gets warm. wife suggesting junk yard but I don*t want to give up, yet. Any suggestions

fordman problem w/86 f150 resolved

had replaced distributor with a rebuilt dist, after some expense and lot of time I found the pickup coil was bad. parts store mgr smiled but I didn*t. truck shown to one buyer and sold. young man loves it or so he says.

Well, while I feel for you having to pay the parts guy, I am happy you were able to get her fixed and sold!
