The most common cause of that is the cable that goes to the top latch from the lever inside the door. Typically the issue is the plastic piece that holds the cable in place breaks. It is possible, if you do it just right (different for nearly all trucks), to lash the cable down with tie wraps and make it work again.
Help, Suicide doors wont open
Doors are stuck, when I pull on the latches, the door wont open. Any advice?
