i am considering purchasing a 2000 f150 for $900 just past inspection 180000 but it has a spun bearing ..... how much would the parts cost to fix this problem....
thanks in advance
Depends on if you have a friend that owns a machine shop!
Seriously, the crank probably needs to be turned, the rod may have to be replaced, new bearing, labor, etc, etc.
If you can take it all apart, and put it back together by yourself you could save a ton.
I'd just do a complete rebuild myself, or buy a crate motor!
