need help with cv half shaft install

I put a 2in. Lift on my 98f150. Blocks in the rear and keys in the front cranked up to level the front. I tore my cv boot during so I decided to just get new half shafts because the cost was low compared to just buying a new boot. Well....I installed the halfshaft but it won't turn. It seems like the angle is too great. I know im not the only one with this lift, so what am I doing wrong? Please help! My truck has been down for a week!
