New F150 owner 88 4x4
Hi everybody,
just bought my first truck it's a 88 f150 regular cab long box 4x4 with the 4.9L and 4 speed. It had been used as a farm truck the last 3 years. It need some work but I love it. After having it 3 days it caught fire on me just before i got to work, the charge cable on the alternator...found out via this form that it's a common thing with the 2g setup in trucks like mine, found some info on a 3g conversion...parts are coming cant wait to get it running again. thanks for all the great info and forum
