Oh my its getting colder out

Just saying hello from Kingston Ontario Canada and yes Cbtboots = Combat Boots LOL

I do need some help with my Truck. 2000 F150 233000 Km

I noticed this last spring my truck didnt not want to start so I would step on the gas and try it again. It would start the second time but all my guages would go from left to right and back again.:confused: but the moter would run. also it seem's i am using more fuel when this happends :eek:


any idea's

The gauge sweep is normally an indication that the battery may be on its last breath. As for the fuel issue, take care of the battery first then we'll tackle the other. Dieing batteries do weird things to cars.

Best thing to do is check the battery with the engine off and then on. Engine off voltage should read between 12.5 and 12.8 VDC. With the engine running it should be between 13.5 and 14.8 VDC.
