i need some help please. I have an 86 F150 with a 351 windsor(thats not the problem) My issue is i have to spray starting fluid to get it to start once started it runs fine until i shut it off then I have to spray it again in order to restart. Any help would be greatly appreciated thank you
The reason I asked that question is the first thought that ran through my head as I read your post and that was that the bowl is drying up.
That said, there are a multitude of issues within the carb that could cause this problem and with that said, a good cleaning or rebuild might be the order of the day.
